Jennifer is a SAM principal, Boyette Springs ES, Hillsborough County, Tampa, Florida. Jennifer’s work in the SAM process began in 2014 as an assistant principal.
She has been a SAM principal since 2014. Jennifer serves as the SAM principal practitioner on the NSIP Board.
In her application she wrote: “All too often, the voice that is missing from the literature and practice of professional learning for principals is the one belonging to the principal. At a time in history when the skills necessary to attempt success I the principalship are so arduous, many would-be candidates seek other career avenues. We must find better ways to meet the needs of this critical group of leaders. The work of NSIP has been the single most influential element of my leadership development. Every school needs a SAM principal. Every principal needs NSIP. I am passionate about ensuring future principal leaders across the country have access to quality, well-grounded, life-changing professional learning. I feel called to serve those who serve this purpose.”
