Tip for this week: Explore your new TimeTrack. Start by clicking and dragging any event to a new day/time. Easy! Then, open an event or create a new event. Click the category, Instruction, and then the descriptor drop down. Surprised? Pretty cool.
Have you set contact days for the new school year? You will find it is much easier to do. Go to the same place you’ve always gone, orange TimeTrack logo, upper left, click and select contact days set up. You will be surprised how much easier it is to do…and your changes are saved automatically.
We’ll send short videos over the next three weeks highlighting new TimeTrack features…but why wait? Explore and enjoy.
The response from state and district leaders to the end of year annual rubric assessment has been remarkable. Leaders are impressed by your success and want to know more about the SAM process. Great!
We shared a sampling from six NSIP Board members over the last two weeks. Here’s one more from emeritus Board member, Debbie Daniels.
Being involved in the National SAM Innovation Project has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my 50-year career. I had the privilege of becoming a member of the SAM family from the very beginning when SAMs was still an idea being developed and tested. I immediately embraced the SAM process. My first thoughts were, “Where was this process when I became a principal?” I have championed SAMs and been amazed at the progress, innovation and technological advances of this project for almost twenty years. Time is our greatest tool as an administrator and how we use it determines our success and that of the educators and students that we impact. I have served as a Time Change Coach, Implementation Specialist, founding NSIP board member, former Secretary of the NSIP Board, current board member emeritus and Time Track user. I continue to use the lessons I have learned from SAMs and will always be grateful to have been a part of SAMs and have had the opportunity to meet and share this process with so many wonderful SAM teams across the country. As SAMs enters a new era and implementation of the latest version of Time Track, I encourage all of you to continue to support SAMs and make every day Better with SAMs!
